Early February 9, Bau Bang district’s Party Committee, People’s Council and Fatherland Front Committee held a get-together to mark the 88th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) (February 3, 1930-February 3, 2018), celebrate the Lunar New Year 2018 and review the local Party building in 2017.
At the get-together, delegates reviewed the history and development of the CPV during the past 88 years. Upholding this, the district’s Party and government reached many important results. The district’s industrial production last year surged nearly 18%. The district absorbed additional 110 newly-registered projects with US$330million and VND404billion, bringing the total number of projects herein so far to 582 with a total registered capital of US$2.3billion and VND25trillion. The district’s total retail sales revenue of commodities and services grew by 24%. The district also mobilized many resources to realize social welfare policies and new rural construction, creating positive changes in many aspects. Besides, the district attached special importance to Party building, creating solidarity within the Party.
On this occasion, the district’s Party Committee awarded the 30 to 70-year Party membership insignias to 25 Party members; honored 2 Party collectives with the “strong and pure” title; presented the certificates of merit to 11 Party members who excellently fulfilled entrusted tasks for five consecutive years. The district also posthumously bestowed the “heroic mother “title to 2 mothers.
