Ben Cat district’s People’s Committee said that the district in 2013 absorbed additional 26 FDI projects with a total registered capital of nearly US$229.5mln and some extra-ones with nearly US$83.5mln for production and business expansion.

The above result has brought the total number of FDI projects flowing into the district so far to 478 with a total registered capital of more than US$5.8bln. Of these, there are now 354 FDI projects with a total registered capital of nearly US$3.44bln at district-based industrial parks (Ips) and 124 ones with a total registered capital of more than US$2.36bln at district-based Ips.

Also in 2013, Ben Cat district drew additional 112 domestic projects with a total registered capital of more than VND310bln, lifting the total number of domestic projects herein up 1,289 with a total registered capital of more than VND10.28trillion.
