Ben Cat, Phu Giao: Tet gifts presented to needy people

Leaders of Ben Cat district, on January 24, held a delegation to visit and present Tet gifts worth VND500,000 each to Huong Duong Center for Orphan and Disabled Children in My Phuoc township’s quarter 2.

Particularly, the delegation offered a gift to the center and 40 gifts to children at the center while wishing them a happy and cozy Tet.

*The same day, Phu Giao district’s Association for the Blind held a ceremony to give 53 Tet gifts worth VND450,000 each, including VND300,000 in cash and 10 kg of rice, for its officers and members.

The above Tet gifts were funded by the family of couple Nguyen Huu Van and Tran Thi Tu residing in Phuoc Hoa commune’s hamlet 1A.

It is known that on the occasion of the 2014 traditional Tet (Lunar New Year) festival, the family of couple Nguyen Huu Van and Tran Thi Tu has offered 200 Tet gifts to needy people through the Red Cross Society, Women’s Union, Veterans Society, Association for the Blind of Phu Giao district and Phuoc Hoa commune.
