On the afternoon of December 7, Ben Cat town’s Party Committee held its 5th open Executive Board conference, in attendance of Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
The conference reported the local socio-economic development, national defence-security, Party building in 2020 and orientations, tasks for 2021 to delegates. Accordingly, the district well realized duel tasks of Covid-19 prevention and economic development in 2020. The district’s economic growth was 18.9% with total production value reaching more than VND164.66trillion, up 17.5% compared to the same period last year. The conference also approved the Resolution of the town’s Party Executive Board on orientations, tasks for 2021. Accordingly, some major targets in 2021 of the district are to reach the economic growth at fixed prices at 11,7%; gain more than VND2.34trillion in State budget collection; absorb more than US$300million in FDI capital; develop additional 300 small and medium-sized enterprises; obtain the rate of communes, wards meeting civilized urban, cultural standards at 60%; admit at least 120 Party members…
