Ben Cat Women’s Union promotes “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” campaign

So far, Ben Cat district’s Women’s Union has set up 14 clubs of “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” with 550 members. The model has not only encouraged women to give priority to using Vietnamese goods, but also contributed to ensuring customers’rights and interests.

 

Nguyen Thi Anh Diep, vice-chairwoman of the district’s Women’s Union said that speeding up propaganda activities about the campaign of “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” is needed to make the habit of using Vietnamese goods among women.

According to her, My Phuoc township now has a lot of trade-service areas and street markets, so it was selected to launch the model of the “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” club by the end of 2010. The club has also made efforts to overcome initial difficulties.

 

The district’s Women’s Union has also joined hands with the local sectors to organize market days of “Bringing Vietnamese goods to countryside”, contributing to raising public awareness in the usage of Vietnamese goods; cooperated with the local Sub-Department for Customers’Right Protection to hold training courses on the State’s regulations pertaining to trading and consumption for officials and members so that they could avoid fake and poor-quality goods.

 

Such these apart, the district’s Women’s Union has set up 5 groups of female traders with 68 members and now mobilizes more female traders to respond to the campaign. They have also taken initiative in pledging to sell Vietnamese goods with high quality and ensure food safety & hygiene.

 

With the above practical activities, the “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” club of the district’s Women’s Union has greatly affected officials and members’awareness and made contributions to the program of “Bringing Vietnamese goods to countryside”.
