Binh Duong from the perspective of arts and photography

To celebrate the country's major holidays and evaluate the creative movements of fine arts and photography, the provincial Literature and Arts Association has just organized the 12th exhibition of Binh Duong on the road to development in 2023 at the provincial Museum. The diversity, vividness and richness of art in the works have stired many emotions in viewers towards the value of truth, goodness, and beauty.

To admire the beauty of Binh Duong

Visiting the provincial Museum in the historic April days, we encountered a lot of students and teachers on their visits. Everyone was watching attentively with round eyes, both admiring and enjoying the works at the exhibition area of fine art and photography with the theme of Binh Duong on the way to development for the 12th time in 2023.

Talking to us, Nguyen Anh Thu – a student at Phu Tho Primary School in Thu Dau Mot city, said that she was for the first time able to admire so many beautiful pictures, paintings and statues. At the museum, Anh Thu saw more and more that Binh Duong to have many beautiful places from the perspective of photographers. As for Do Nhat Hung – a student at Le Hong Phong High School in Thu Dau Mot city, the art works in the exhibition space are very unique. With skillful hands, the artisans have created materials from terracotta, wood, iron, etc. into funny, beautiful shapes with many implied meanings.

According to Ngo Phuoc Chanh – Deputy Chairman of the provincial Literature and Arts Association, the exhibition has 70 photographic works and 20 works of art to have won the high prizes at the 12th art and photography contest of Binh Duong on the way to development 2023. With living capital and cultivation, career exploration and attachment to reality, the life of the authors, the entries for the competition mostly follow the breath of contemporary life to show the soul, humanity of people before the problems of today's life. The works have shown the upward development of Binh Duong with the contributions of generations of people born and having stayed attached to Binh Duong.

To expand the horizons

Although this exhibition is limited in number, the works are meticulously invested from the idea to the selection of materials. The authors have used artistic techniques to subtly describe the image of nature, the country and people of Binh Duong in the construction and defense of the homeland.

Photographer Bui Minh Son of Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists said that the works on display are proof of the rich artistic potentials and the demonstration of the creative ability of photographers. Some authors have a broader vision to approach life in broader aspects of humanistic values in each work not just limited to individual perspectives but for the popular ideas.

According to artist Huynh Phu Ha - Head of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association in Ho Chi Minh city, the works of visual artists whether realistic, impressive or abstract are also hallmarks of life. The real life of society affects their souls as art is life condensed by the artist into beautiful and emotional visual images as part of the synthesis of the labor results of Binh Duong artists and sculptors through composition camps, field trips, and sources.

This artistic achievement is a harmonious resonance between the artist's responsibility to society and the attention and investment of Binh Duong province in art creation activities. However, the authors need to invest more so that the works can be expressed more deeply to create more emphasis and increase vitality to make an impression and to attract more viewers so as to spread the most meanings of human values in colors and works.
