Late June 18, provincial People’s Committee held a program on the announcement of the first support stage for enterprises hit by the recent incidents at Lucky Square Convention Center in Binh Duong New City.

Attending the event were Pham Van Canh, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of provincial People’s Council; Le Thanh Cung, Vice-Secretary of provincial People’s Committee cum Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; leaders of departments, sectors in the province, the People’s Committees of districts, towns, TDM city and representatives of enterprises receiving support in this stage.

Provincial People’s Committee said that along with compensation insurance money, the province has set up support policies for the damaged enterprises. Accordingly, they will be supported in 9 fields relating to construction, tax reduction and exemption, custom procedures, environment and natural resources, banking, labor and employment, social insurance, social order and security, administrative procedures to help restore their documents.

In the first support stage, provincial People’s Committee gave support for 37 enterprises with a total estimated damage of nearly VND286bln.

Addressing the event, Mr.Cung said that the province would further take support measures for the damaged enterprises, helping them be able to recover their operations in the soonest time while wanting that they should further cooperate with the province to consider and deal with queries pertaining to support policies for them. So far, the province has also completed statistic about the damage of enterprises, which is considered as a basis for dealing with relevant support policies and compensation insurance money…
