Binh Duong Newspaper solemnly held its 36th founding anniversary (Dec. 1, 1976-2012) on Nov. 30 with the participation of Nguyen Minh Giao, head of provincial Propaganda and Training Committee, retired journalists, collaborators and cadres and public servants of Binh Duong Newspaper.

Founded on Dec. 1, 1976, Binh Duong Newspaper has over the past 36 years overcome difficulties to excel role of a bridge for readers, to play role as voice of the provincial party committee, authority and people.

 

Binh Duong Newspaper has at present published 6 issues per week from Monday to Saturday, 3 e-versions of Vietnamese, English and Chinese and Supply & Demand journal to meet demand on information, introduction of products and services for organizations, individuals, businesses… On the occasion, Binh Duong Newspaper has initiated a contest on photo and investigative reportage.

 

Addressing the anniversary, Nguyen Minh Giao, head of provincial Propaganda and Training Committee steered Binh Duong Newspaper to pay attention to training for reporters and editors. In addition, the newspaper’s collectives should strive further to renovate quality of the newspaper on all areas. On the occasion, the provincial People’s Committee chairman granted merit certificates to Binh Duong Newspaper workgroup while the provincial trade union donated certificates to excellent trade unionists.
