Binh Duong Post Office and Department of Transport to offer postal service of receiving – returning driving license 

Morning Oct 21^st, Binh Duong Post Office and Department of Transportation held the contract signing ceremony of providing postal service of receiving – returning driving license with the presence of Department of Information and Communications (photo).

After more than a year, Binh Duong Post Office in collaboration with Department of Transportation has provided delivering service of administrative dossier results. Nearly 43,000 driving licenses were delivered door-to-door. In order to better serve people, especially workers who cannot come to agencies to renew driving license during working hours, Binh Duong Post Office has continued to cooperate with Department of Transportation to offer driving license renewing – issuing service at enterprises and postal branches across the province. From October to December 2015, these agencies have received dossiers of renewing – issuing driving license at enterprises and My Phuoc 2 industrial park postal branch (Ben Cat town). After one implementation month, the two agencies will evaluate results and apply to the whole province.

Driving license receiving – returning service by post is expected to reform administrative procedures, diminish the overload at Department of Transportation; promote the role of the only public delivering unit in the province in better serving the people.
