Late Oct.12, provincial Relief Board had a meeting to approve a plan providing relief aid for flood-hit people in the central region.

 

At the meeting, provincial Relief Board also decided to donate VND2bln to the four heavily-affected central provinces, including Quang Binh with VND1blb, Ha Tinh with VND400mln, Nghe An with VND300mln and Quang Tri with VND300mln.

 

*Early Oct.11, provincial Radio and Television Station’s staff gave one day salary with total money of VND31mln to support flood-hit people in the central region via provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC). Provincial Radio and Television Station also mobilized donors to respond to the campaign of making contributions to provincial Fund for the Poor launched by provincial FFC.
