On the afternoon of December 22, Mr. Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, chaired the 51st meeting of the provincial People's Committee. Also in attendance was Mr. Mai Hung Dung, Standing Member of the provincial Party Committee and Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, and Mr. Nguyen Van Danh, Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Committee.

The session approved 20 contents, including 16 draft decisions presented by departments and agencies and discussed by members of the provincial People's Committee to contribute opinions for completion, such as the decision on regulating the land price adjustment coefficient in 2024 in Binh Duong province, the draft plan for relocating public agencies, state-owned enterprises, and provincial-level specialized organizations to work in the Binh Duong Industrial-Service-Urban Complex.
The meeting also approved the draft Decision on the issuance of the Socio-Economic Development Plan of Binh Duong province for 2024. Accordingly, in 2024, Binh Duong strives to achieve a total Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) growth rate of 8-8.5%; the per capita GRDP is expected to reach 185.5 million VND. The province aims to increase its Industrial Production Index (IIP) by 8.7%, and total retail sales and consumer service revenue are projected to grow by 13-14%. The total state budget revenue in the province is expected to reach 71,600 billion VND while foreign direct investment is targeted at 1.8 billion USD.
The session has approved the drafts; at the same time, the delegates voted to gather opinions on some important contents, contributing to the Adjustment Master Plan of Tan Uyen city and the Construction Planning of Dau Tieng district until 2040.
In his concluding statement, Mr. Vo Van Minh requested the departments and agencies to incorporate the opinions and contributions of the delegates in order to further refine the draft decisions and submit them to the provincial People's Council for approval at the upcoming session.
