Morning of May 19, Mr. Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting with Ms. Sarah Hooper, Australian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh city on her visiting and working in Binh Duong.

At the meeting, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Vo Van Minh gave an overview of the socio-economic development situation of Binh Duong over the past time and specific information about the investment attraction situation of Binh Duong that achieved many good results. Binh Duong has focused on investing in transport infrastructure after the COVID-19 pandemic and synchronously implementing digital transformation solutions to build up Binh Duong innovation zone. The Chairman of the provincial People's Committee informed about the province's trip to attend the Australia-ASEAN economic forum taking place at the end of May 2022 in Australia; thereby, Binh Duong continues to call for investment to connect exchanges and cooperation and create the best conditions for Australian businesses to invest and effectively operate in Binh Duong.

Ms. Sarah Hooper thanked Binh Duong province's leaders for their open welcome and welcomed Binh Duong's upcoming trip to Australia. Binh Duong is highlighted for safe and effective vaccination against COVID-19 for the entire population. The Australian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh city was impressed with Binh Duong's PAPI that was ranked 2nd in the country as recently announced including many of the highest content indexes especially those on controlling corruption in the public sector of the nation.
