Binh Duong students will return to school from August 26

The Provincial People's Committee has issued Decision No. 2339/QD-UBND, which promulgates the time plan for the 2024-2025 school year of preschool education, general education and continuing education in the province.

Accordingly, preschools, primary schools, junior high schools, high schools and continuing education centers will reopen on August 26, 2024. As for grade 1, school will start on August 19, 2024. Preschools organize school festivals for children; primary, junior high, high schools and continuing education institutions organize the opening ceremony on September 5, 2024.

Binh Duong students will return to school from August 26. For grade 1, school will start on August 19, 2024.

End of semester 1 will be before January 18, 2025; schools will complete the program and end the school year before May 31, 2025. Consider recognition of completion of primary school program and consider recognition of junior high school graduation before June 30, 2025. 

Schools must complete enrollment for the first grade classes for the 2025-2026 school year before July 31, 2025. The whole industry will organize the summary of the 2024-2025 school year in August 2025. High school graduation exam in 2025 and national exams will follow the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training. 

Currently, educational institutions in the province are speeding up preparations for the new school year, ready to welcome students back to school.

The school year time plan for all levels must ensure 35 weeks of actual study (semester 1 has 18 weeks and semester 2 has 17 weeks). Holidays are implemented according to the provisions of the Labor Law and guiding documents of competent authorities.
