Binh Duong to enhance the application of biotechnology in agriculture

Morning Oct 7^th, provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development organized a conference on “Biotechnology application in agriculture”.

In recent years, provincial Plant Protection Bureau has successfully implemented the project “Setting up safe vegetable producing areas in Binh Duong province", contributing to raising farmer’s awareness of safe vegetable production. Besides, VietGAP rice production model combines with ecological technology of floristic fields has reduced costs of plant protection products and labors. The model of processing water hyacinth into organic fertilizer by Trichoderma probiotics has helped in killing many fungi, harmful bacteria on fruit trees, curbing hyacinth’s expansion on rivers and canals in the province…
