Binh Duong workers shine on stage

The singing contest in 2022 of workers is an attractive stage for amateur artists after hard work. By impressive and unique performances, the provincial Arts and Culture Center excellently won the gold medal of the whole delegation.

The contest attracted 26 mass art troupes representing workers from 24 provinces and cities. Mr. Tran Thanh Son, Director of the provincial Arts and Culture Center, said that Binh Duong's program in the festival had the theme of "Binh Duong new day's sound" and included 6 performances which are carefully practiced after hours of hard work, contributing to the connection of workers and employees from many units with the same interests and talents to create a new source of joyful and refreshing energy. According to Ms. Nguyen Hoang Bao Tran, Deputy President of the provincial Trade Union, right after returning to the new normal, Binh Duong organized many healthy and useful playgrounds for workers and employees. In particular, the Workers' Singing Contest 2022 organized by the provincial Trade Union from the beginning of May 2022 until now has attracted hundreds of entries to compete in the preliminary round. The 57 highest scores were selected for the semi-finals. In which, 24 performances won the right to the final round to take place in the evening of July 17, 2022.

The contest is a cultural and artistic activity organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province. This is a practical activity demonstrating the political determination of the entire cultural sector to carry out the task of reviving and developing Vietnamese culture under the direction of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on the occasion of the 110th birthday of President General Secretary Nguyen Van Cu (July 7, 1912 to July 9, 2022) and to celebrating the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 to July 28, 2022).

With a passion for singing and impressive performances, the "Binh Duong new day’s sound" has spread to the festival many meaningful messages as the bustling pace of workers on construction sites and factories, the joyful cheers of the young generation entering the lecture halls and classrooms, and the vibrant rhythm of life in the cities or people driving up and down.

According to the evaluation of the festival's jury, the program is imbued with the identity and cultural characteristics of the locality and region to introduce, spread, promote as well as invite tourists near and far. The enthusiasm of the actors on stage left many emotions and unforgettable impressions in the hearts of the audience. Sharing with us about the joy of Binh Duong being honored with the gold medal of the whole delegation, Ms. Nguyen Hoang Bao Tran said that it was the result of the united efforts of the units and workers in the group. Over the years, in addition to taking care of the material life and policies for employees, Binh Duong also regularly organizes playgrounds for cultural and spiritual activities and art performances. This festival is a particularly meaningful activity towards the goal of building and improving the spiritual and cultural life for workers and workers in industrial zones and clusters and a large number of people. In particular, in the context of accelerating industrialization and modernization, activities like these are even more meaningful.
