Briefing on activities and farmer movement of Emulation Cluster No. 6

On November 8, Provincial Farmers' Union held a conference to brief on the union’s work and farmer movement in 2023 of Emulation Cluster No. 6. The conference was attended by Nguyen Xuan Dinh, Vice Chairman of the Central Vietnam Farmers' Union; Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Provincial Party Mass Mobilization Committee; Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; representatives of Farmers' Union of provinces and cities of Emulation Cluster No. 6.

In 2023, Farmers' Unions of 10 provinces and cities in the cluster closely followed the leadership and directions of the Central Union, Provincial, City Party Committees, and People's Committees at the same level to lead, direct, and organize the comprehensive implementation of farmer union works and farmer movement, achieved many important results. In addition, unions at all levels focused on guiding and mobilizing members and farmers to build collective economic models, branches and professional associations; promoted service activities, consultancy, vocational training support, provided capital support for members and farmers to develop production, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty...

Concluding the conference, Dinh proposed that Farmers' Unions of provinces and cities soon overcome limitations; pay attention to membership development and carry out coordination work; exchange and receive proposals and recommendations from Farmers' Union of provinces and cities in the cluster.
