Businesses stabilize workforce after Tet

According to provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA), around 99.33% of businesses in the province have resumed operations after the Tet holiday period.

Around 97% of employees at businesses outside industrial parks (Ips) have been back to work. The figure was 94.6% and 98% at businesses in Vietnam-Singapore Ips and ones under provincial IPs Management Board.

Noticeably, some businesses like Thong Dung Co.Ltd., Interwood Vietnam Co.Ltd., Sea Master Co.Ltd., Nitto Denko Co.Ltd., YME Co.LTd…have reached 100% of employees returning back to work.

Nguyen Phung Trung, Deputy Director of DoLISA said that the number of employees at province-based businesses back to work after the Tet holiday period was relatively high. The result came from the efforts by businesses in taking good care of employees’lives over the past time. Employees’ awareness of working manner were also raised, making them return to work on schedule.
