Candle burning ceremony to pay tribute to heroes, martyrs held

A candle burning ceremony to pay tribute to heroes and martyrs took place at provincial Martyrs’ Cemetery on the evening of July 26 on the occasion of the 68^th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs'Day (July 27, 1947-July 27, 2015).

This year’s ceremony was co-held by the Youth Unions of provincial Business Bloc, TDM city, Thuan An town, provincial Police Agency, provincial Military Command, provincial Agencies Bloc and Vietnam-Singapore Vocational College.

Attending the ceremony were representatives of departments, sectors; heroic Vietnamese mothers; martyrs’ families together with 1,000 Youth Union members in the province. They lighted candles and offered incense to commemorate heroes and martyrs who laid down their lives for the cause of national liberation and unification.
