After two months of launching the “Ceramics and Life” photo contest, the organizing board received 969 photos of 128 photographers. As a result, the first prize for the photo collection went to photographer Truong Kim Bang from HCMC whilst the 1st prize for single photo went to Duong Hoang Hanh from Long An province.
As many as 200 beautiful photos will be selected for printing and exhibition from Sept. 1 to mid Oct., 2010 at the provincial Culture Center. The exhibition is part of Vietnam-Binh Duong Ceramics Festival 2010.
“Ceramics – Minh Long’s product” work of Duong Hoang Hanh wins the first prize.
According to the Vietnam-Binh Duong Ceramics Festival 2010, 7 works of ceramics of craft villages and businesses have registered for Vietnam record and more than 50 other works have registered to join in Vietnamese Ceramics Contest.
14 scientists also agreed to join in a scientific seminar on ceramics at the exhibition fair. Besides, Binh Duong Museum also cooperated with Museums of Thua Thien-Hue, Binh Thuan, Phu Yen, Quang Nam, Dong Thap, Binh Dinh, An Giang, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Ca Mau… to exhibit over 600 ancient ceramics at the exhibition.
