Ceremony held to mark the 10th anniversary of establishment of Representative Office of the Southern Provinces of the Communist Party of Vietnam E-Newspaper

In the morning of December 26, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Representative Office of the Southern Provinces of the Communist Party of Vietnam E-Newspaper celebrated its 10th anniversary.  Attending the ceremony was Dr. Tran Doan Tien, Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper and leaders of southern provinces and cities. Vo Van Minh, permanent Deputy Secretary of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of Binh Duong provincial People's Council attended the event and presented flowers to congratulate on the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Representative Office of the Southern Provinces of the Communist Party of Vietnam E-Newspaper.

Overview of the ceremony

Nguyen Vu Anh, Head of the Representative Office of the Southern Provinces of the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper said that reporters of the agency have been regularly present at important events in the area to promptly report the situations and issues in specific localities and in the whole region. Many of the agency's stories have won high prizes in regional and local press competitions. Those are the Golden Sickle and Hammer Award of Da Nang, Dong Thap, and Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City's high-quality press award. 

“For the mission of being an extended arm of local press agencies, over the past years, our representative office of the southern provinces has connected a lot of collaborators who are enthusiastic and skilled students in the provinces, cities, units, departments, and branches. They are the ones who promptly report the events taking place in the provinces and cities in a lively and immediately manner of daily news and articles on the Vietnam Communist Party's Electronic Newspaper," said Nguyen Vu Anh.

Tran Doan Tien affirmed that the representative office of the southern provinces of the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper has made an important contribution to the roadmap for the implementation of the goal of building a newspaper into a centralized and multi-media press agency under the spirit of Conclusion 26 of the Secretariat and Decision No. 362 of the Prime Minister on the National Press Development and Management Plan until 2025. He wished that the representative office of southern provinces would continue to improve the quality of news and articles while attaching importance to bring into play multimedia elements and maximize new technological advances in modern journalism skills; to continue to develop and to build enthusiastic collaborators, passionate for the job, contributing to the conveying to readers practical issues from the grassroots.
