+Vinh Xuyen, the teacher in Ben Cat district's Tan Dinh commune:"Binh Duong Newspaper did a very significant deed"...
This statement raised by Vinh Xuyen, a retired teacher in Tan Dinh commune, Ben Cat district. He used to join in a Club for fighters under Thu Dau Mot province's education sub-committee. Thanks to reading a series of articles of Ho Chi Minh generation diary published on Binh Duong Newspaper, he found out names and relatives of martyrs. On Oct. 10 and 11, 2012, the Ministry of Education and Training solemnly held the 50th anniversary of education in the anti-US period in the South Vietnam from 1962-2012 at Tay Ninh provincial party committee. Members of the club of the yore joined in the anniversary. We recognized Binh Duong Newspaper's significant deed of publishing "Ho Chi Minh generation" diary. This diary contained love of homeland, the Party and Uncle Ho and heart dedicating to revolutionary cause. I myself hope that Binh Duong Newspaper will print the diary into book to grant it to youths and unionists. And, I hope to receive the book to remind myself youth's years.+Veteran Nguyen Chi Muu in Phu Hoa ward, Thu Dau Mot city:It is an invaluable gift.
As a veteran, I can feel drastic struggles during the anti-US resistance war. In 1969, at the age of 18, I and many young people joined in the military to fight against enemy in the Southern battlefield. Ambience of joining in the military was very excited at that time. I was afraid of not to be recruited in the army because I weighted only 42kg. I was admitted fortunately. And, on the way to the Southern battlefield, every soldier held a diary to write about glorious time. Unfortunately, I lost my diary and keepsake of the resistance war. Therefore, for us diaries and photos are invaluable assets. We are very happy to know of the owner of "Ho Chi Minh generation" diary. This is an invaluable gift for family and relatives of the owner. They will feel proud of the female soldier.Reported by Q.Nhu - T.Thao - Translated by A.C
