Early October 28, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, in collaboration with Tan Hiep Phat Company, held a scholarship awarding ceremony titled "Connecting love - Supporting education" for students with difficult circumstances throughout the province at Thuan An city’s Youth Activity Center. The event was attended by Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of provincial People's Council, along with leaders from Thuan An city and representatives of departments and mass organizations in the province.
During the ceremony, Tan Hiep Phat Company awarded 200 scholarships worth VND 1 million each to students with difficult circumstances. The “Connecting love - Supporting Education” program is an annual scholarship program by Tan Hiep Phat Company, aiming at supporting underprivileged students who show resilience in their studies and lives across four provinces Binh Duong, Hau Giang, Quang Nam and Ha Nam.
The scholarship awarding ceremony in Binh Duong is the second round of awarding scholarships in 4 provinces. Previously, on October 4, Tan Hiep Phat Company awarded 200 scholarships to students in Hau Giang province.
Representative from Tan Hiep Phat shared at the ceremony that through this initiative, the company hopes to join hands with Binh Duong province in enhancing the well-being of residents, especially children.
These gifts are not only of material value, but also carry spiritual significance, encouraging the students to continue building resilience, study diligently and strive for a brighter future.
After the scholarship ceremony, the students attended a talk show on preventing child abuse.
