The Doosan Company at the Dung Quat Economic Zone in the central province of Quang Ngai held a ceremony on February 22 to export seven large cranes worth US$17.5 million to its Indonesian customer – PT Pelebuhan Samudera Palaran.
The consignment, which includes two Rail-Mounted Quay Cranes (RMQC) and five Rubber Tired Gantry Cranes (RTGC), was produced by 350 engineers and workers of the MHE factory with assistance from 22 experts from the Republic of Korea. It was the first major project conducted by MHE since the factory went into operation in February 2009.
The seven cranes will be installed at Palaran port in eastern Kalimantan, Indonesia.
In the time to come, MHE will continue with further projects such as the Saigon New Port, the JNPT (with India), and the PSA (with Singapore).
MHE is capable of manufacturing 36 RMQCs and 398 RTGCs from 2010 to 2016
