Delegation of the National Assembly of Binh Duong province pay gift-visits to Vietnamese heroic mothers and socially-privileged families

In the afternoon of July 15, a delegation of Binh Duong provincial National Assembly led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Deputy Head of the provincial National Assembly Delegation visited and presented gifts to the Vietnamese heroic mother and socially privileged family on the 75th anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 to July 27, 2022) at Tan Binh ward in Di An city.

At the visiting place, the delegation listened to the representative unit of the local leadership report on the results of the implementation of the policy of people with meritorious services in the past time as well as their advantages, difficulties, suggestions and recommendations. The delegation, then, visited the monument of Suoi Mach Mang at Tan Binh ward.

The delegation visited and encouraged Vietnamese heroic mother Phan Thi Cai, 99 years old, who was conferred a noble title as her husband and child dubbed martyrs in the cause of national liberation.

In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation visited Hero of the People's Armed Forces Nguyen Duc Nghia, a 52% wounded soldier. After the end of the resistance war, Mr. Nghia was awarded the Third-class Military Merit Order, the second- and third-class Victory Medal, and the title of Hero of the Liberation Army; the provincial People's Committee awarded him Certificate of Merit for 5 years of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's moral example.

At each destination, the delegation gave each family a gift and cash of VND 2 million.
