Nearly VND 450 million to support needy people at "VND0 market"

On July 14, at the humanitarian address of Provincial Red Cross Society in Phu Hoa ward, Thu Dau Mot City, the Provincial Red Cross held the 12th " VND0 Market" in 2022.

This market has supported 300 people with disabilities, freelancers, people having difficult circumstances in Thu Dau Mot City, Thuan An City and Tan Uyen Town. Each person who joined the market received a gift worth more than VND 1.5 million, and many food, daily necessities. All these gifts were sponsored by departments, branches, unions, localities, organizations and benefactors and Red Cross Society in the province. Total cost of the market was nearly VND450 million. This was the 178th VND0 market organized by all levels of Red Cross Society in the province in 2022.

On this occasion, the Provincial Red Cross received more donations from departments, branches, businesses and benefactors to humanitarian charity activities organized in the coming time, with a total expenditure of nearly VND1 billion.
