Department of Science and Technology step up inspection

Since early this year, provincial Department of Science and Technology have conducted inspections of goods quality, labels, and stamps as scheduled at 7 enterprises of manufacturing group 2 and 19 businesses of children toys, helmets, gas…

Particularly, during 2016 Lunar New Year, the department collaborated with Department of Market Management and provincial PC46 Public Security to check 52 manufacturing businesses, retailers of Tet goods. After inspection, these forces warned 10 businesses to recheck measuring tools; required businesses to stop their business and return 3 unqualified food batches to suppliers; sanctioned 1 business violating radiation safety and handled 8 petrol pumps not meeting measurement standards with an error from 3.72 to 6.39%.
