Department of Transportation to implement regulations on car transport

Provincial Department of Transportation has issued a written document proposing all transport businesses, transport vehicle’s owners to implement following regulations: Transport cars with designed loading capacity of 7 to less than 10 tons must be badged before Jul 1^st 2016 according to Point c, Clause 4, Article 11 of Decree 86/2014/ND-CP; Transport cars with designed loading capacity of 3.5 to less than 7 tons must be badged before Jan 1^st 2017 according to Point d, Clause 4, Article 11 of Decree 86/2014/ND-CP; ansport cars with designed loading capacity of less than 3.5 tons must be badged from Jul 1^st 2017 according to Point đ, Clause 4, Article 11 of Decree 86/2014/ND-CP.

Department of Transportation asked automobile registry centers to instruct the above-mentioned subjects to implement these regulations as testing and registering vehicles. Transport businesses, transport vehicle’s owners that do not comply with these regulations will be sanctioned according to Decree 171/2013/ND-CP of the Government. Type-1 and type-2 bus stations must be equipped with management software and CCTV system from Jul 1^st 2016.
