Update: 23-05-2023 | 11:47:59

Di An city has implemented many solutions to strengthen the management of the local collection, transportation, treatment of industrial solid waste and scrap business.

Accordingly, the People's Committee of Di An city has carried out the inspection and relocation of many scrap facilities, thereby step by step bringing the scrap business into order, contributing to making the city get more civilized, beautiful and cleaner. However, during the implementation process, there were still some scrap facilities that did not complied with the relocation requirements. In some wards, some new scrap facilities have arisen. Specifically, through the inspection work, the city’s functional force recorded 28 new scrap facilities with small scale, operating in residential areas. Up to now, 11 scrap facilities have stopped working and the city’s functional sector is advising the People's Committee of the city on imposing administrative punishment for the remaining 17 establishments. In addition, the People's Committee of Di An city has issued a decision to coerce 2 scrap facilities that do not to comply with the relocation decision and the time for the implementation will be in May 2023.

In order to actively manage and restore the order of the scrap business, the People's Committee of Di An city has required individuals and organizations operating in scrap business to strictly and fully comply with the provisions of the law before going into operation. For  organizations and individuals deliberately going into operation when failing to ensure conditions on environment, planning, land, construction, fire prevention and fighting, etc., the People's Committee of Di An city will resolutely handle relocation under the regulations.
