Di An’s Youth Union organizes summer activities for young people

Di An city’s Youth Union has just cooperated with provincial English Club for the Community to organize the program "When I'm 18 - Vocational consultancy, future orientation together with you".

At the event, students had the opportunity to exchange ideas on social issues and orient their future plans and dreams. They were also provided with useful information about the 2022 national high school graduation exam; advised on choosing skills suitable to their capacity. On this occasion, the city’s Youth Union awarded 20 scholarships worth VND500,000 each to disadvantaged students.

Along with that, the city’s Youth Union coordinated with the city’s Department of Education and Training to organize the 2022 youth informatics competition at Dong Hoa secondary school, with the participation of 95 students from the local primary and secondary schools. The competition aimed at developing the movement of learning, creativity and application of informatics while selecting excellent candidates representing the city to participate in provincial youth informatics competition.

On this occasion, the city’s Youth Union and Young Pioneer Organization also held a festival of children's clubs, teams and groups while making dissemination of information about the Law on Children. Participating in the event, students and heads of the Young Pioneer Organization (YPO) branches were taught skills and methods of organizing YPO activities, practicing social skills and skills to protect them from abuse, violence...
