On the afternoon of June 9, a delegation of the People's Councils of the province and Thuan An city, led by Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People's Council had a meeting with voters in Hung Dinh ward to prepare for the periodic session in mid-2022.
After hearing a report on the operational results of provincial People's Council Standing Committee, Thuan An city’s People's Council Standing Committee, voters in Hung Dinh ward expressed their delight at the local achievements. Many voters highly appreciated the role and responsibility of provincial People's Council and Thuan An City People's Council deputes during the local overall development process.
At the meeting, the local voters reflected that electric lights on some roads in the area were not bright, causing difficulties for people’s travelling at night and proposed functional agencies to fix this issue soon. They also suggested that compensation for expanded land acquisition on Hung Dinh 15 street should be transparent and fair to people. In addition, they offered proposals for effectively handling environmental issues in order to protect Hung Dinh orchards; well solving issues pertaining to urban management…
At the meeting, representatives of the local government and the delegation acknowledged petitions by voters and will soon transfer them to functional agencies for settlement under their competence.
