Dissemination of policies and laws on beliefs and religions for dignitaries, officials of religions and representatives of religious establishments

On July 18, the Provincial Department of Internal Affairs held a meeting to disseminate policies and laws on beliefs and religions for dignitaries and officials of religions and representatives of religious establishments in Binh Duong province in 2022. Attending the meeting was Nguyen Thi Dinh, Director of Department of Legal Inspection –Government Religious Affairs Commission; Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee; and nearly 500 dignitaries, officials of religions and representatives of religious establishments in the province.  

At the meeting, Nguyen Thi Dinh informed the current situation of beliefs and religions in the world and Vietnam; introduced some policies and laws on beliefs and religions. Nguyen Loc Ha also informed about some socio-economic results of the province in 2021 and over the first 6 months of 2022. The achievements of Binh Duong in recent years are the result of the solidarity, consensus, determination and striving efforts of the whole Party, government and people of the province, including the contribution of dignitaries, officials, monks and followers of religions.

Nguyen Loc Ha wished that religious dignitaries, officials, and representatives of religious establishments would continue to be the main force in propagating, disseminating and guiding believers, actively apply the State's policies and laws on beliefs, religion into religious activities in their locality, and together with followers to perform well the obligations of citizens ...
