During the 4 days of National Day holiday from September 2 this year, the venues of cultural, artistic and sports activities in the province always attract a large number of people to participate. Bustling to celebrate the new street
Immersed in the joyful atmosphere to celebrate the inauguration of the night market and Bach Dang pedestrian street in Thu Dau Mot city on this holiday, a large number of locals and tourists had meaningful fun moments with many local cultural and artistic activities.
Before the inauguration, in 2 days of August 31 and September 1, Thu Dau Mot Youth Union and Center for Culture, Information and Sports coordinated to organize a contest to discover talents for choreography and propaganda revolutionary song (TCM) of Thu Dau Mot city in 2022. The contest attracted 14 TCM teams from 14 wards in the city. Each team performed a theatrical show including solo, trio, illustrative dance group, independent dance etc.
Sharing with us, Bo Thi Ngoc Linh, Secretary of Phu Tho ward Union, said that Bach Dang pedestrian street is a new place for clubs, teams and groups to showcase their talents not only during the holidays but also on weekday afternoons. This is also an opportunity to show all the talents and also a place for a large number of people to enjoy the cultural performance of the union members.

On September 2, many activities to celebrate the opening ceremony of the night market and Bach Dang pedestrian street took place. From early in the morning, a large number of members of Thu Dau Mot City Elderly Association participated in the walking festival and performing physical training. This was followed by spectacular competitions of 7 boats from wards in the city, Bac Tan Uyen district and Tan Uyen town at the Thu Dau Mot Traditional Boat Race. Besides, the performance of Flyboard and Jetski was also organized on the Saigon River to satisfy the viewers' eyes.
In the evening of the same day, right after the inauguration of the night market and Bach Dang pedestrian street, a large number of people and visitors experienced subdivisions such as cultural, arts, and entertainment, general sales area of food court, souvenirs, and handicrafts. The park includes green trees, miniature items, street lights and modern decorative lights.
Attracting residents and visitors
On the evening of September 1, at Di An City Square, a large number of people and workers had the opportunity to enjoy many unique cultural performances and interact with famous singers and artists. The program is organized by the Center for Culture, Information and Sports of Di An City, consisting of 2 parts: Part one includes theatrical performances praising the Vietnamese revolutionary tradition, praising the Party, Uncle Ho, and praising Vietnam. achievements in the process of construction and development of Binh Duong and Di An city performed by the mass art team of the Center for Culture, Information and Sports of Di An City. Part two includes performances of music, dance, circus, magic with the participation of comedy group Tan Bo, singer Luu Anh Loan and other musical groups.
At Binh Duong New City Park, the fun atmosphere during the holidays is more and more bustling. In particular, on the evening of September 3, at the outdoor stage, a street playground program with the theme "Full moon festival" was held by Becamex IDC Corporation in collaboration with the Youth Support Center for workers and workers. Provincial young laborers (under the Provincial Youth Union) organization. A large number of children and parents had the opportunity to enjoy many unique cultural performances such as lion and dragon dance, street magic, modern dance, clown making bubbles and medley of fun singing songs. Although the "Street Playground" is a non-profit with no-fee street art model, each program is carefully invested and prepared to bring the audience really quality performances. With about 200 photos on display, the "Glory of Vietnam" exhibition in the lobby of the provincial Arts and Culture Center attracted many people. The images are divided into 4 parts: from the successful August Revolution, the Declaration of Independence to the Dien Bien Phu victory in 1954, the North socialism, the South resistance wars of 1945-1954 and 1954-1975, Binh Duong’s integration and development, outstanding activities of the culture, sports and tourism sector.
Also on this occasion, Binh Duong Fine Arts - Culture Intermediate School also held a fine art exhibition to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 to August 19, 2022) and National Day of February 2, 2019, and opening the new school year of 2022-2023. The exhibition introduces 23 works of art by 17 authors who are teachers, former teachers and former students of the school. These are also painters and sculptors belonging to the Fine Arts Association of the provincial Literature and Arts Association. Fine art works of various genres such as lacquer, oil painting, graphics and sculpture, were selected by the Art Council of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association and displayed in the first Southeast Regional Fine Art Exhibition to take place in August 2022 in Binh Phuoc province.
