Exhibition of Binh Duong provincial armed force’s history “70 years of building fighting and maturing” to be opened

Morning Nov 23^rd, Provincial Military Command held the opening ceremony of Binh Duong provincial armed force’s history exhibition named “70 years of building fighting and maturing” in the 1945-2015 period.

The exhibition consisted of 4 sections, including 130 pictures and 70 exhibits demonstrating the formation, heroic history, great contributions of material, efforts, wisdom and even blood from Thu Dau Mot - Binh Duong soldiers and people since the establishment of Binh Duong provincial armed forces.

The displaying area of ​​550 m2 were divided into several stages including milestones; namely, the establishment of platoon 1 - Southern Liberation Army, which was the forerunner of provincial armed forces, on Nov 25^th 1945 in An Son commune, Lai Thieu district (now is An Son commune, Thuan An town); important events recording the heroic fight of provincial armed forces against French colonialism (1945-1954), American imperialism (1954-1975); images of provincial armed forces’ activities while implementing international duties, accomplishments of  combating readiness training ...

The exhibition introducing the history, tradition of “70 years of building fighting and maturing” contributed to educating on the tradition, helped today armed forces to uphold the tradition of “Loyalty, courage, resilience - Proactive, creativeness - Solidarity, determination to win”; thereby, building up provincial armed forces to be regular, elite, modern to successfully fulfill tasks of defending the Fatherland.
