The 7-day journey of pioneer campers ends today June 24. From June 17, they departed from Ho Chi Minh City to reach for Dong Nai and Tay Ninh Province by bicycle. Participating the event was 265 excellent pioneers at the age of 12 to 15 in Dong Nam Bo region. This year’s event was sponsored by Binh Duong Youth League which attracted nearly 100 supervisors to the trip through the hot sunny days and rains at times.

“It is very impressive to me. We share more and more,” said Hung Phuoc Huy a camper from District 6 of Ho Chi Minh City.

“To each province, we visit famous places and historic sites to understand the development of that province. The knowledge is helpful and we can witness things with our own eyes,” said Nguyen Hong Phuoc, a camper from Dong Nai.

In two days June 18 and 19, they have stopped by Binh Duong Province and presented 50 gifts to children in Bo De orphanage of Bo Do Pagoda in Thuan An Town. They have visited Hoi Khanh Pagoda, provincial museum and learned about ceramics in Minh Sang Plaza and met up students of VSIP Vocational College. They ended their stay in Binh Duong Province by candle offerings to martyrs.
