External information work maintains and enhances the initiative flow of positive information

On March 2, Binh Duong Provincial Steering Committee for External Information Affairs held a conference to summarize external information work in 2022 and implement orientations and tasks in 2023. Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Provincial Party Propagation and Education Committee, head of the Steering Committee, chaired the conference.

According to the assessment, in 2022, Provincial Steering Committee for External Information Affairs and Provincial People's Committee issued documents to perform external information work. As the Standing Body of Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Party Propagation and Education Committee well performed the organization and coordination between members of the Steering Committee, between the Steering Committee and other departments, agencies and localities. Binh Duong Newspaper, Binh Duong Radio and Television Station, and Provincial Web Portal improved quality of special pages, categories, news and articles about external information, contributing to the introduction of potentials, strengths, and the promotion of images of the country, culture and people of Vietnam in general, Binh Duong in particular to international friends...

The conference approved the plan and instructions for external information work in 2023 in the province. Accordingly, the main content is to maintain and enhance the initiative flow of positive information; persistently, regularly informing and propagating the Party's lines, undertakings and views, the State's policies and laws in all fields; image of the country, people, culture of Vietnam, Binh Duong province...

Speaking at the conference, Truong Thi Bich Hanh suggested that in the coming time, members of the Steering Committee would continue to renew their thinking in external information work in association with the views and guidelines set out in resolutions of the Party congresses at all levels. She said that for propagation and communication work, the Steering Committee will continue to innovate content, diversify methods and forms of information, strengthen protection of the Party's ideological foundation, and fight against false opinions, distorting and opposing arguments. Truong Thi Bich Hanh added that 2023 is an important year, when the half term of implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the term 2020-2025 is preliminarily reviewed, and many major undertakings and policies of the province, such as infrastructure, digital transformation etc. are implemented, hence it needs to be promoted and propagated more widely.
