From her difficulties, Tuyet has shared with local women of family planning and gradually she is called by the informal name of “population Tuyet”.

  Bui Anh Tuyet in Binh Minh I quarter, Di An town told that her husband passed away in 1987 and left 2 children at the age of 6 and 3. Over the past 25 years, she has managed to support for her two children.

As a head of Di An ward Women Union and collaborator of population, she has grasped local population situation and led in promulgation movements of family planning.

She revealed “When my husband passed away, I had to overcome my spiritual pain to take care of my children. Now they have got marriage and I feel happy with my grandchildren”.

Since 2010, Binh Minh I quarter has yet to have any couple giving the third child. Tuyet well knows about the number of residents in the quarter to cater for promulgation of family planning and malnutrition control in children. She has mobilized hundreds of local sisters to use contraceptive measures…

Most of the women in the quarter are small traders, workers, so her promulgation time is unstable. Many times, she has to arrive at their houses at night.

Perhaps, thanks to enthusiasm and motivation, she was chosen to attend a population conference to be held at Ha Noi.
