FDI capital flowing into Ips up 151%

Industrial parks (Ips) under provincial Ips Management Board in the first three months of 2014 absorbed more than US$215.7mln in FDI, up 15% compared to the corresponding period last year or more than 47.9% of 2014’s plan.  

Particularly, there were 20 new FDI projects with a total registered capital of more than US$147.4mln and 14 extra-ones with nearly US$68.3mln.

It is known that provincial Ips Management Board now manages 25 Ips with nearly 7,540 hectares in total, including 23 of 6,984.7 hectares in operation. With FDI attraction results in Q1 2014, Ips under provincial Ips Management Board have so far attracted 1,308 valid projects, comprising of 927 FDI projects with a total registered capital of nearly US$6.3bln and 381 domestic ones with a total registered capital of nearly VND24.744trillion.
