For a long time, Lai Thieu orchards have been famous for its specialty fruits, such as: mangosteen, durian, female jackfruit, bon bon... Perhaps, nature's favor on soil conditions has created a very unique flavor for the fruits here. Those who have ever enjoyed the fruit of Lai Thieu have an unforgettable feeling about its very characteristic taste. However, for many different reasons, there was a time when the quality of the orchards here was significantly reduced, so tourists were also less likely to come here.

In order to re-create the famous "Lai Thieu orchard" brand in the past, authorities at all levels have taken measures to restore the orchards, including organizing Festival "Lai Thieu ripe fruit season". Like its name, the festival is held in the season of ripe fruit. As a promise, the orchards that give ripe fruit this season in Lai Thieu land are filled with laughter of harvesting farmers and footsteps of tourists. In addition to providing specialty fruits to serve market needs, the fragrant orchards here are also very potential to develop eco-tourism.

In fact, some orchards here have also been developed in the direction of tourism, but compared to the number of gardens in the area, they are still very small and were done spontaneously. The delicious and sweet fruits of this land have resonated since ancient times, the rest is to work together to turn the orchards and specialty fruits of this land into products for tourism and attract more and more tourists.

The promotion of the January Full Moon Festival in Thu Dau Mot City as a "free festival" is the result and the participation of the whole political system, the consensus, and joint implementation of the local people. With the festival "Lai Thieu ripe fruit season", in order to build a brand, the local government has already paid attention to it, the rest is the consensus of the people. Gardeners should consider doing tourism together, because when linked together, it will create solidarity, sharing, and mutual support in serving process to customers as well as make their products and services more diverse and quality. As a result, it will attract tourists, help each gardener increase income, contribute to the development of the locality.
