Fishermen in hardship of Binh Thuan province assisted

On the afternoon of January 8, the Provincial Farmers' Association in coordination with the Binh Thuan provincial Farmers' Association held a meeting to encourage and support members and fishing boat owners who suffered a fire in Phu Quy district (Binh Thuan province). At the meeting, Mr. Do Ngoc Huy, Chairman of Binh Duong provincial Farmers' Association shared, encouraged and gave support of VND 10 million per boat to 11 fishermen members in the boat fire.

Previously, receiving an open letter from the Farmers' Association of Binh Thuan province to mobilize support for people whose fishing boats burned, Binh Duong provincial Farmers' Association sent an official dispatch to the provincial Relief Campaign Committee asking for support to help the members. After receiving the official dispatch from the provincial Farmers' Association and based on the operating regulations of the Provincial Relief Campaign Committee, the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee decided to distribute the amount of VND 90 million from the Provincial Relief Campaign Fund to the Association. In addition, the provincial Farmers' Association mobilized VND 20 million from contributions from members in the province and the provincial Farmer Billionaires' Association to support members and fishing boat owners who suffered a fire in Phu Quy district.
