Friendly cooperative signing between Binh Duong province and Emmen City (the Netherlands)

On Nov 17th, the signing ceremony of friendly cooperation between Binh Duong province and Emmen City (the Netherlands) took place at provincial Administrative Center. Tran Van Nam, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Tran Thanh Liem, Permanent Deputy Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; and representatives of departments, agencies of Binh Duong province; Cees Bijl, Mayor of Emmen City, and some governmental leaders of Emmen City attended the ceremony.

Accordingly, the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen the friendly relation and expand cooperation in fields of economy, trade, services, tourism, import and export.

Speaking at the ceremony, Tran Van Nam said, Emmen City was one of the most developed regions of Europe. Binh Duong province wished to cooperate with Emmen City in all fields, especially high-tech agriculture. Binh Duong always supports enterprises for business and provincial growth.  Therefore, Binh Duong is very confident in the success of this cooperative relationship. Cees Bijl also hoped that the cooperation would bring good results to both sides. After returning to the Netherlands, the delegation will continue to advertise potentialities and advantages of Binh Duong to the Netherlandish business community.

Initially, the two sides will facilitate market surveys to enhance trade and investment cooperation, imports – exports in accordance with the two sides’ strengths; support business activities of SMEs. In addition, the two sides will also jointly strengthen a sustainable relationship, enhance socio - economic development of both sides, establish a friendly cooperative relation between the two localities.
