Gifts donated to needy workers

Late May 20, a delegation of provincial Labor Union, led by Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial Labor Union, visited and presented gifts to workers with extremely difficult circumstances at Dong Hung Co.Ltd., Yazaki Eds and Thai Binh Investment Joint Stock Co. in Di An town.

In the visiting places, the delegation extended best regards to needy workers while donating 73 gifts to them. Each gift is worth VND500,000, funded by the Golden Heart Fund of the Nguoi Lao dong (Laborer) newspaper and provincial Labor Union.

Provincial Labor Union has also actively teamed up with trade union locals to mobilize workers to take part in the election of deputies to the 14^th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 tenure slated on May 22; mobilized businesses to create favorable conditions for all workers to perform their citizen right and duty.

*Prior to that, the Trade Union of the province’s garment-textile sector also gave 3 gifts worth VND500,000 each for 3 workers with extremely difficult circumstances at Poong In Vina Co. in Tan Uyen town. Thus, the Trade Union has presented 9 such gifts during the 2016 provincial Workers’ Month and Week.
