To mark the 90th founding anniversary of the Youth Union under the theme of “Binh Duong’s children are proud of the tradition towards the Youth Union”, provincial Youth Unions and Young Pioneer Organizations at all levels have continued organizing many activities for children with diversification in education work, equipping them with social skills and supporting their learning for a good future.
Traditional education
In the 2020-2021 academic year, provincial Youth Union and Young Pioneer Organizations at all levels have diversified propaganda and education about the national history and revolutionary tradition. They jointly organized programs on traditional education among schools on the 76th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (December 22, 1944-December 22, 2020).
Noticeably, more than 400 pupils from Dong Hoa primary school in Di An city’s Dong Hoa ward had a chance to offer flowers, incense to commomorate heroes, martyrs at Di An city’s Martyrs’Cemetery. They also visited the Museum of Army Corps 4, offered incense to commemorate heroes, martyrs at the Army Corps 4 memorial temple, learnt about the tradition of the Army Corps 4 and Vietnam People’s Army.
The Youth Union of Phu Chanh ward in Tan Uyen town has also just coordinated with the ward’s Military Command and War Veterans’Association to organize a traditional meeting for pupils at Phu Chanh secondary school and primary school, thereby educating them to memorize the great merits of heroes and martyrs, arousing the pride of the tradition of Vietnam People’s Army and consolidating love for homeland among them...
Tran Bao Lam, Vice-Secretary of provincial Youth Union said that provincial Youth Unions and Young Pioneer Organizations at all levels will boost activities among pupils under the theme of “Children are the young shoot of the Party” towards the 13th national Party congress, the 90th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the 80th founding anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization. Provincial Young Pioneer Organization and its branches will make propaganda and education activities on the glorious history and tradition of the Youth Union through the “Healthy and joyful children” and “Towards the Youth Union” festivals organized at schools…
Training and care
Provincial Youth Unions and Young Pioneer Organizations at all levels have attached special importance to training social skills among teenagers and children. Accordingly, they have promoted the “Small plan” movement and carried out “Mang non” (Young shoot) works in association with specific deeds from each Young Pioneer Organization member; given training to Young Pioneer Organization members through meetings on “Building up fine friendship, saying no to school violence”; organized training courses on life skills among them…
