Good doings from studying and following Uncle Ho’s exemplary morals

After four year-implementation of the “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals” campaign, provincial War Veterans’ Society has discovered a lot of good doings and examples.

 

  Representatives of war veterans in the province signing emulation deals under the witness of provincial Party Committee Deputy Chief Vu Minh SangThrough the campaign, all officials and members of the society has been deeply aware of the basic contents and great values regarding late President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology and moral example. It has also brought about dramatic changes in the awareness of self-study and self-training among them. 

 

The society has also discovered a lot of good doings and bright examples via the movement of telling stories about Uncle Ho’s exemplary morals. Le Thi Chau, member of Tan Binh communal War Veterans’ Society in Tan Uyen district was well-known for her simple-but-significant doing. Meanwhile, Bui Xuan Tu, member of Binh An communal War Veterans’ Society in Di An district was a bright example in rising up out of poverty and getting rich. He has also actively got involved in social and charity activities…

 

During four years of implementing the campaign, members of the society have always upheld the virtue of “Uncle Ho’s soldiers” in the thinking and action, so there have appeared many good doings in economic development, social order and security maintenance. For example, veteran Nguyen Xuan Lo has tried to rise up and become a bright example in business and production. In 2009, he was sorted out for the National Conference for Outstanding Contributors organized by the

Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

Hundreds of model roads have also appeared across the province via many movements launched by the society. In 2010, the society has extended the “Studying and following Uncle Ho’s exemplary morals” campaign that focuses on Party building work among its officials and members.

 

Phan Van Duong, chairman of provincial War Veterans’ Society said: “After four-year implementation, the campaign has created clear change in awareness and action among members of the society. They have become more responsible in realizing 7 tasks and 5 special subjects set out by the society. This is an important element to promote the development of the society to be worthy of being a reliable mainstay of the local Party, government and people”.
