On October 24, provincial Military Command coordinated with provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Red Cross Society to hand over 5 Red Cross houses to ethnic minorities in the district of Bu Gia Map in Binh Phuoc province.
The event was attended by Colonel Nguyen Dinh Chuan, Political Commissar of provincial Military Command; Tran Thi Kim Lan, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Thi Le Trinh, Chairwoman of provincial Red Cross Society.
It is known that each house has an area of 80-135 square meters. The total construction cost was more than VND 760 million, including VND 400 million from Binh Duong province and the remainder from donors together with the 778 National Defense Economic Group.
This meaningful work aimed at well implementing the policy of the Military Zone 7 Party Standing Committee on "Strengthening cohesion, friendliness, support and assistance to ethnic and religious people"; "Rear localities, units support the front ones", thereby helping ethnic minority families with extremely difficult circumstances to rise up in life.
