Historical sites to be renewed in Dau Tieng District

Through out 2 resistance wars against colony and defending the nation, the people and army in Dau Tieng District have greatly contributed to liberation and unification cause. And together with the land, they become proofs of meaningful history and culture heritage including Dau Tieng Lake, Nui Cau Mountain, front line HQ of Ho Chi Minh Campaign, and so on. For many different reasons, those physical heritages have not been renewed as it meant to be.

Some historical sites have been ranked but been degrading without any repair. As the matter of fact, Dau Tieng authority has prompted to recovery and repair work for those historical sites.

 

Take Cam Xe HQ for an example, Dau Tieng District has extracted from its budget to recover this historic site after the site is honored as a national historical site. In the past, the place is a commanding frontline for Ho Chi Minh Campaign chosen by Le Duc Tho and Van Tieng Dung.

 

Meantime, Dau Tieng District has started construction of VuonTrau-HoMien historic site costing over VND 3 billion to commemorate historic events in this region.

 

Mr. Tran Tong Dinh, Chief of Culture and Information Office in Dau Tieng District, said that he has made suggestions to renew historical sites of Kien An forest and Vo-family land. Also, he informed that the district currently has 17 historical sites, 8 of which are certified by the provincial authority and central government.
