Provincial FFC receives money, gifts worth nearly VND3bln as relief aid for flood-hit people in central region

*Province’s relief delegation visits, provides relief aid for people in flood-stricken central region

 As of Oct.22, provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) received money and gifts worth nearly VND3bln as relief aid from organizations and individuals for flood-hit people in the central region. Dao Ngoc Nu, chairwoman of provincial FFC said that there were a lot of the local units actively providing relief aid for flood-stricken people in the central region. Provincial FFC now continues receiving support for people in flood-stricken central region.

 *A delegation of provincial FFC yesterday visited and presented VND300mln funded by the local people to the central province of Quang Tri. The delegation also donated 1,000 gifts worth more than VND400mln, including mosquito-nets, baskets, clothes, rice, sugar, reasoning power…, to Van Kieu ethnic minority people in Dakrong district’s Ta Long, Huc Nghi communes, Huong Hoa district’s Tan Long, Tan Thanh communes in Quang Tri province. These gifts were sponsored by Thanh Le General Import-Export Trading Corp. Meanwhile, Becamex IDC also donated medicine worth nearly VND145mln to these ethnic people.

 On the evening of the same day, the delegation continued traveling to the central province of Quang Binh to quickly hand over relief aid to people in flood-stricken central region.
