Industrial production value up 11.3%

The province’s industrial production value has reached stability with most immigrant laborers returning to work after the traditional Tet (Lunar New Year) festival.  

Accordingly, the province’s industrial production value in February reached VND13.737trillion, down 15.1% compared to January, 2014 and up 26.4% compared to the same period of 2013. Of these, the domestic investment sector rose by 21.6% compared to the same period of 2013 or 33.4% of total while the foreign investment sector increased by 29% or 66.6% of total.

The province’s industrial production value in the first two months of the year was VND29.913trillion, up 11.3% compared to the same period of 2013. Some industries of textile, paper, plastic, woodwork…saw a growth during the period.
