In action month for food safety in Thu Dau Mot City, Food Safety Inspection Team of the city’s Economic Office will inspect agricultural, forestry and fishery business households in markets and roads around markets; establishments providing raw materials that are products originating from agriculture, forestry and fisheries for collective kitchens in the city.

The main inspection content is to ensure food safety in agro-forestry business (the allocation of commodities, waste treatment, waste water, treatment of pests, tool ans equipment cleaning, stalls for business). During the inspection, the team will take samples to check the growth of residues of weight gain chemicals in pork, residues of pesticides on vegetables, fruits and vegetables. The inspection is to improve the effectiveness of state control and management in quality management, food safety assurance for production and business production establishments of agricultural, forestry and fishery products; protecting consumers' rights and interests; and at the same time handle violating organizations and individuals, who deliberately act in contravention of laws.
