Inspection to be boosted by Department of Science and Technology

From the beginning of the year, Department of Science and Technology has implemented professional against production of coffee powder, instant coffee powder, nutrient cereal powder, instant noodle, snacks, moon-cakes, etc.; inspection has also been carried out in 40 units against radiation safety, standards, measurements, commodity labeling, commodity quality, and industrial properties. The Department has also inspected quality and labels of 80 samples of gold and jewelries at 32 trading units in the province.

Department of Science and Technology has also coordinated with Department of Transportation to check up businesses using taximet in the province. As a result, 799 vehicles have been qualified for legal profiling; coordination has been made with market control division and economic police (PC46), and provincial police to inspect quality and commodity labels across 41 petroleum businesses in the province.
