Provincial Customs to hold dialogue with Chinese investors in Binh Duong

October 15th, Binh Duong Customs, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) - HCM City branch held a dialogue with Chinese investors in Binh Duong. More than 70 representatives of Chinese enterprises attended the meeting.

At the dialogue, Customs Department briefed representatives on Customs Law, some new points of the customs declaration process, good inspection; new guidance on taxation in Circular 36/2015/TT-BTC; warnings about common errors in the documentation, declarations...

Provincial Customs also answered many business’s questions on VAT deduction during tax payment process in case of new declarations; how to be entitled to MFN status without C/O certification, if the importing country were a WTO’s member; preferential tax rate if the importing country were not a WTO’s member…

Speaking at the meeting, Ly Chan Dan, Economic Counselor of Chinese Consul General in HCM City, appreciated efforts and cooperation of Binh Duong authorities to support businesses; and believed that dialogues were really useful to strengthen cooperative relations and assist Chinese businesses in investing efficiently.
